Pine Island Nursery

I had an errand to run deep south, down in Homestead. Finding myself with a little extra time on my hands I went over to Pine Island Nursery in the Redland. Having purchased some fruit trees in the past, I had sent Helen in that direction when she wanted to get some Citrus trees. While there, she bought a Blueberry bush (!!!!!!???!). Considering the crazy money they get for Blueberries they get in the store, I was blown away by the thought of growing them here. Hence, my side trip back to Pine Island.
A $170 later (OMG!). I now have 3 Blueberries (Emerald), 1 Dragon fruit, 1 Cinnamon, 1 Black pepper.
Neil took me through the field and both of us were chowing down on the beyond excellent fresh blueberries. I have never had them off the plant. I will write more about them later, but excited is not even the beginning of it.
Anyway, Great place, great plants, really nice people.
